On March 29th 2022, iBECOME featured in a webinar alongside 3 other European projects; SmartBuild4EU, U-CERT and ePANACEA. The webinar was hosted by Leonardo Energy (European Copper Institute). Project coordinator Dimitrios Ntimos from IES R&D represented the iBECOME project during this event.
The webinar focused on “A new generation of instruments and tools to monitor buildings performance”. Each speaker gave an introduction into their projects, and this was followed by a roundtable discussion on the projects link with the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) for buildings mentioned in the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
Dimitrios presented iBECOME virtual Building Management System main concept, software and hardware components, as well as discussed the expected impacts and experiences in calculation of SRI in Helix Building.
