We are delighted to share the highlights and recordings from the successful conclusion of the iBECOME project’s final hybrid event. Held on May 24th, 2024, both online and at the Hotel Ramandolo in Udine, Italy, this event marked the culmination of our journey in advancing building energy efficiency, backed by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
Approximately 30 stakeholders, including attendees both in person and online, joined us to celebrate our achievements. The agenda featured insightful sessions led by industry experts, detailing the challenges faced, innovative solutions implemented, and the impacts observed across our pilots in Ireland, Scotland, Italy, and France.
The morning sessions, conducted in English, provided a comprehensive overview of the project, including detailed insights into each pilot and discussions on market analysis, business modelling, and sustainability post-project. The Italian session, starting at noon, delved into market analysis, insights on deployed technology, and business modelling, followed by a roundtable discussion and closing remarks.
Throughout the event, our audience actively engaged with questions, reflecting their interest and commitment to advancing building management, energy efficiency, and sustainable development. The networking lunch provided a valuable opportunity for participants to connect with industry peers, fostering collaboration and potential future partnerships.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, both online and in person, for their contributions to the success of the iBECOME final event. The iBECOME project has been at the forefront of innovation, leveraging IoT, big data, and advanced analytics to optimise building energy consumption. Our cloud-based solution offers a range of functionalities, from comfort and flexibility optimisation to fault detection and diagnostics, contributing to a more sustainable built environment.
