On November 9th and 10th, the iBECOME consortium gathered in Ireland for the 5th General Assembly (Month 30). The two-day event took place in Dublin and it provided the perfect opportunity to catch up and discuss the recent activity within the project.
The meeting was chaired over the two days by project coordinator Dimitrios Ntimos (IES) and featured presentations by work package leaders and a visit to the Country Crest demo site.
On Day 1 of the General Assembly, work packages leaders presented a review of activity for the last 6 months and outlined key targets for the next periods. There were detailed presentations on each demo site Country Crest, WTC Grenoble, ASP della Carnia and Helix Building.
The morning of Day 2 completed the presentations, and this was followed by a trip to the Country Crest demo site in the afternoon. The consortium got a tour of the factory and gained an insight into the work that Country Crest focus on grow and pre-packing fresh potatoes for the retail sector.
This brought an end to the General Assembly and we look forward to the next one in May. The project is entering a very exciting phase, make sure to keep up to date with the latest activity on Twitter, LinkedIn or subscribe to our newsletter.
